Rosanna Wood is a jewellery designer who takes inspiration from the woods, fields and gardens around her home, in Ampleforth, in North Yorkshire. The majority of her ideas have come from long walks with her three dogs.
To begin with, jewellery making was a hobby that started over 12 years ago. Due to interest from family and friends, she eventually started Rosanna Wood Designs in 2012.
Using silver, gold and precious gemstones to create her work. She was taught and has been inspired by the teachers of York School of Jewellery and Craftworx.
Many of her pieces are developed and created through the use of silver art clay (99% pure silver) and traditional jewellery making techniques, using sterling silver. All pieces over 7.6 grams are hall marked with her makers mark and silver type.
